Who We Are

Graham Drummond started his musical journey from the age of seven, singing solos in his own church, before joining the local parish church choir. He studied violin, viola, singing, piano and music theory at school, where his father was the head of Strings. After taking music GCSE and A level music, Graham later attended University of Huddersfield to study for a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree, majoring in musical performance. He then went on to study for a Post Graduate Certificate in Music Education at the same university, in 1995. Since university, Graham has taught music in multiple settings over a thirty year career. He has been committed to making music as fun and accessible to as many people as possible, through his work in schools and for music services and hubs. For a number of years, Graham was a classroom music teacher, teaching children from the ages of 5 right up to 18. Laterly, Graham, has taught instrumental music lessons, in particular, Whole Class Instrumental Tuition in schools, to engage  students who would not normally be able to access such lessons, and Graham is committed to giving access to musical learning opportunities for everyone.
